Mindfulness meditation offers a way to meet yourself with gentleness, especially during challenging times. By practicing present-moment awareness, you can find moments of ease amid difficulty, reconnect with what matters, and cultivate compassion for yourself and your experience. Join us weekly to explore practices that help you set healthy boundaries, gain perspective on hard emotions, and align with your deepest values. No experience necessary - each session welcomes you exactly as you are.

Live on Zoom| Bi-weekly Sessions
Wednesday 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Circle of Hope is a welcoming space where individuals touched by cancer come together to share experiences, encouragement, and resilience. This is a peer-led community, not a professionally facilitated group. Instead of licensed practitioners, members guide the conversation by sharing their own journeys, listening with empathy, and offering practical wisdom.
Our circle is built on mutual respect, lived experience, and the belief that hope grows stronger when it is shared. Here, everyone’s voice matters, and together we create a supportive environment rooted in connection rather than clinical expertise. “Thriving with Cancer through Sharing and Caring.”
Facilitated by Jeanette Villalon, Associate of Arts in Elementary Education/Generic Special Education, Prince George’s Community College

Meets weekly via Zoom
45 minutes per session
Sacred Restoration is a structured, trauma-aware 8-week journey that gives a reliable pathway for healing emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
Each session is built around the R.E.S.T.O.R.E framework and guides participants from emotional grounding and identity reclamation through nervous system support, intuitive body awareness, practical nutrition, and, finally, sustainable healing rhythms they can implement as lifelong practices.
Every participant receives a branded wellness study toolkit, nutritional support recipes to review with their medical providers, weekly reflection sheets, and fatigue-friendly audio grounding practices. These tools complement your medical care.
Who Will Benefit?
The consistent weekly structure and guided support are beneficial to all individuals currently in, or recently completed treatment for cancer.
